She was Dr. Georgia (Arbuckle) Fix, pioneer western Nebr. doctor. Lived at Gerring many years. Estelle (Mrs. L. J. Laughlin) wrote a biography of her life in the Nebraska Panhandle. Mari Sandoz, the writer, appreciated much of Estelle’s research and writing in her book Miss Marissa.
