This picture is a rare one taken of Johnny O’Loughlin about 1910. The pair of oxen shown weighed 3,800 pounds. They were a fine work team, owned by O’Loughlin. O’Loughlin left the original [pie] of opposite print with Warren Zimmerman at Guymon Herald Office, Guymon, Okla. The largest steer weighed at 1970. The team (the were [anvil] oxen) weighed 3,800.
