Ox shoeing stall. Origin of this old photo is unknown. It was furnished by Roy Rodgers of McAlester, Oklahoma who says it was in his mother’s bible. Clearly shown is a method of constructing a stall used to restrain oxen while shoeing them. Note legs stretched, spent ox shoes in foreground, stone wall at right and wooden shoes worn by workmen. “One picture is worth a thousand words’ isn’t it?
