Locke sent this picture of Wright to Al Olive, Dodge City, with the following inscription on the back: “Al — Finally run into your old sidekick Burris Wright when his wife wasn’t around — Happy New Year Frank Locke” Burris told Harry E. Chrisman that when Frank Locke showed him a picture of Al Olive and asked if he knew him he replied, “Hell yes, he was our old Cookie on the roundup.”
