[note] Life was austere in Liberal, Kansas [1911 is crossed out] after the Hancock’s moved from their farm to town. Pauline and baby Bud are shown with the parents. Button and Gilpin munch [hay is crossed out] fodder from the wagon. Water was hauled in a barrel on sled, shown in foreground of photo.
