[back] Glenn Love – Harry Chrisman 1925 Harry’s horse is named Old Dan. Old Dan and I made many trips after horses, mules and cattle 25 to 60 miles in length, once I was on & with him in an 18-hour stretch moving cattle from north of Mitchell to Wild Cat Hills, near Joe Duckworth place. A hard trip, you can bet! He was a fine horse, rugged, but good for roping and cutting, too. He was part American Bred saddler, Dad said, I brought 55 head wild horses from Sioux County to Scotts Bluff, Nbr in one day – a trip of 65 miles.
