[front] Don’t mark this photo! [back note] This rare old photograph taken on the Wartenbee claim in No Man’s Land shows the processing of watermelon seeds from the whole melon. Man at left on wagon scoops melons into hopper of Crusher; melons are chewed up in hopper, drain pulp and seeds through the wire mesh into Pit. Rinds are thrown on pile. Photo is of watermelon farmers. They remove seeds from whole watermelons. Rinds are thrown in pile at right. There is a machine in the center and wagons with horses on both sides. There is one man in the back of wagon on the left. There is a boy and a man holding a watermelon. There is another man in front of machine with hands on hips.

Other Info.: Photo is in a cardboard mat/frame. Frame and photo is torn and taped on upper left corner. Frame has tape on back also. Frame is 8 x 1/16″
