[front] Kodak Safety Film [back] Three views of the old Texas Cattle Trail (Ogalalla Trail) as it winds over hills in Lane County, Kansas, just before crossing the middle fork of Walnut Creek about 2 miles northwest of old Olive Horse Ranch site. Trail is 60 to 100 feet in width, individual trails worn into tough [?] from 6 inches to 1 1/2 feet in depth. Little or no sage brush grows on old trail, making it easy to see. Vegetation is different on Trail from surroundings. Picture taken in 1957. Picture is of open field has a car in it.
