Dodge City Aug 26, 1886 At 4 am fire broke out-destroyed half dozen structures in Dodge house block-between Bank of Dodge City and Hoover’s brick block. Destroyed were [Stuterants] Drug Store, Hart & Haynes Saloon, Lilghman & Co. audition house- and made “a clean sweep of the end of the old rookeries between the Bank of D.C. and Hoovers brick block. Loss $20000. partly covered by insurance
